The key to good vision is a regular eye examination. If you haven't had an eye test within the last two years, we recommend you make an appointment now.
Remember your eyesight is precious and deserves the highest standards of professional care. We feel your eyecare is the most important part of a visit to our practice.
That is why only fully qualified Optometrists will examine your eyes, and Dispensing Opticians will over see your spectacle purchases. We also invest in all our staff so they can make your visit as relaxing and informative as possible.
Vision changes over time, often gradually, so you may not even realise yours is deteriorating. That is why it is important to have regular eye examinations. These will check your sight and ensure your glasses or contact lenses are up to date and suitable for your needs.
There's more to an eye examination in our practice than simply checking your vision. We also investigate the health of your eyes. This is important because serious sight conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration, and even general health problems like diabetes and high blood pressure, may be hidden and not show any symptoms. Yet they can be detected during an eye examination and the sooner a potential problem is diagnosed the greater the chances of it being treated successfully.
We also give you a full explanation of your vision and eye health, plus a copy of your optical prescription. You are always welcome to ask questions about your eyesight.
